Kenya's Harambee Stars Unending Woes!

The on-going CECAFA Football Tournament in Tanzania has witnessed yet another waterloo for the Kenya's National Soccer Team-Harambee Stars. As  expected, the coach Mr. Jacob 'Ghost' Mullee has just resigned. As usual, the blame-game is now at the top gear. 'Ghost' has blamed poor administration of the National Team and low resilience on the part of the players.

My own observation is that the main problem with the team has to do with discrimination in selection of players. As I see it, the players are hand-picked by a corrupt cartel largely from 'Sheng-speaking' players in Nairobi County.  I concur with the coach on the two main reasons: poor management of football in Kenya generally and; low resilience levels of players.

The question then is what next?

Fortunately, with the establishment of County Governments in Kenya, it is hoped that each County shall sponsor a team for the Premiere League and Super Leagues. This shall greatly help diversify talent so that the entrenched discrimination in selection and poor management of sports shall be contained.

There is a German mollusk or an invertebrate which has stolen the FIFA 2010 World Cup extravaganza in South Africa by ostensibly predicting the match outcomes. It was reported that it accurately predicted that Spain would win over Germany which came to be true. SUPER EAGLES & NIGERIA'S PRESIDENTIAL BAN

Following the poor results by Nigeria's Super Eagles National football team at the on-going World Cup extravaganza, the acting Nigerian President has just announce a two year ban on Nigeria National team not to participate in international competitions. The majority of Nigeria's are reported to agree with this presidential ban. Nigerians, being characteristically a proud people, viewed this dismal performance as shameful and regrettable. FIFA is yet to respond to this moratorium. 

Whereas I don't want to ignore the context in which this ban was pronounced, and having watched the Nigerian game plan, and having studied the personality of each of the Super Eagle's players who participated in this World Cup, I must admit that they were not football players but wrestlers  or body builders. Personality-wise, I gave the Eagles less than 60% mean score: where Brazil has 82%; Spain is leading with 85%; Ghana has 74%. Cameron & Mourinho Win but their future is bleak!

Two significant events have happened lately which I must admit that they have lest me worried. The first incident was at the World political stage were the UK has elected David Cameron as their new PM. The second incident is where the former Inter Milan FC Jose Mourinho has won the most prestigious Euro-cup: the Champions Cup. And as soon as he was declared the winner, Jose has since defected to Real Madrid FC.

What worries me is that these two winners lack the personality resilience and psychological  stamina to hold such coveted offices.Whereas I correctly predicted that since Inter has the highest concentration of the most resilient players, Inter FC is the best team in the world as at now. I credit this, not to Jose, but those senior managers who do/did the scouting for Inter. The only strong point that Jose possess is that he gives his deputies and players the full support to play as they fill. Otherwise he, alongside Cameron are VERY WEAK performers on their own. That is they lack the independence of thought and action. Just follow their performances and utterances and you'll discern what I mean. Real and UK should thus learn to work as if they are absent. BARCELONA v/s INTER-MILAN MATCH PREDICTION

In the next 13 hrs, the world footballing society shall witness one of the BEST football extravaganza:Barcelona FC shall be hosting Inter Milan FC. INTER eliminated Chelsea FC whereas Barca dismissed Arsenal FC. During their first encounter, Inter harmered Barca 3:1. Tonight Barca does have a chance to prove that they are indeed the BEST FC world-wide as many have been made to believe. In this high-level encounter, many analysts believe that the KEY MATCH determinants can be reduced the the two coaches: PEP GUARDIOLA (Barca) vs Jose Mourinho (Inter).

UK ELECTIONS PERSONALITY ADVICE

MOSCOW'S METRO BOMBINGS

The BBC carried a photograph, sourced from the Russian Daily the Kommersant, showing the main suspect of the Moscow's Metro towers bombings on Monday the 29th of March 2010. The Russian security has zeroed in on the 17 year-old girl from Dagestan. The girl is called Dzehennet Abdurakhmanova and is believed to have been the widow of the late Caucasus militant Umalat Magamedov killed by Russian forces last year. So far, over 40 people have been killed as a result of the blast.

THAILAND'S DEVOUT DEMOCRATS

For the last one week, the Thai capital Bankgok has been awash with street protests that culminated in yesterday's rare show of how far humanity can go in defense of Democracy. As a sign of their devout devotion and sacrifice for DEMOCRACY the anti-PM protesters collected over 300 litres of their own blood and poured outside the Government House surrounded by thousands of military and police. These creative and committed protesters, whose majority are supporters of the ousted Premier THAKSIN SHINAWATRA, are exerting pressure on the Military-backed new Prime Minister ABHISIT VEJJAJIVA to call for an early general elections.

I being a democrat and being the PERSONALITY WIZARD, and from my Personality Reading and Personality Screening expertise, I must say I was overwhelmed by emotion when I saw on TVs those red-shirted democrats donating and eventually splashing their own blood in defense of Democracy. I was even more emphatic, empathetic and sympathetic when I discovered that the new PM does not have any ability to lead even a dozen lay people. Chelsea FC minus Petr Chech

During the 24th Feb EUFA play-off between Inter-Milan vs Chelsea FC, the former won 2:1. But that was not much news. The REAL news was that the veteran Chelsea goal master Petr Chech sustained an injury that has kept him out to date. As such, Chelsea's chances of beating Inter-Milan minus their No.1 goalkeeper, come Tuesday 16th march 2010, is quite slim. Recently, Chelsea conceded very many easy goals against Manchester City (2:4). Chelsea is now struggling to keep its top position on the Barclays Premier League title chase.

Now, as a Chelsea FC fun, I am worried that minus Petr, the prospects of beating Inter- Milan and or maintaining its league lead is very slim. As a former player and keen observer, I have always maintained that a Football team is as good as its goal-keeper.  And as a personality guru, I must admit that the reserve keeper who played against Hull city and Manchester-City is naturally weak. Of course the guru coach, Carlo Ancelotti, being a seasoned coach has shown confidence with Ross Turnbull in goal-keeping. Otherwise, the club would be advised to prepare for an imminent disaster and a waterloo were it to rely on that other keeper who should be relegated to the 5th division league.

SUDANESE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS 2010

The Sudanese are scheduled to hold democratic elections next month. Sudan has not seen lasting peace ever since it gained her independence from the British in 1957. These elections shall be followed by a secession referendum in January 2011. The current president Omar Al Bashir is wanted (a warrant to that effect is already out) by The International Criminal Court in the Haque to answer charges against humanity and his alleged role in the killings of Thousands of people especially in Darfur Region. In the coming presidential elections The SPLM Party of the former strongman, the late Dr. John Garang, may The Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace, is led  by Mr. Yasir Arman.

The recently released Standard Chartered (kenya) profits for 2009 need to be explained. This bank recorded a 42.6% pretax profits. The bank's CEO Richard Etemesi attributed this phenomenal growth to ''sticking to the basics of banking. The bank's earnings reflect prudent and proactive risk management capability''. NIGER'S JUNTA PROMISES

On the 18th Feb 2010, the Niger's long serving  president Col. Mamadou Tandja was dethroned  forcefully by the junta led by Maj. Salou Djibo. Ten days later, the junta promised to organize elections soon. In fact, Maj. Djibo having declared himself president, made a personal promise to the Nation that  ''...in this country, the time for authoritarian regime is over'' The Daily Nation. Nairobi. Friday March 5, 2010: p6.

In spite of my deep love with democracy, and in spite of my devout dislike for coups d'etats and subsequent junta rule, I received the news of the coup d'etat with a sigh of relieve since Col. Tandja had manipulated the Niger's  constitution.
However, upon seeing the junta leader's photo, I have every reason to postpone my celebration. Indeed, I am worried that these promises made by the junta may not hold. My advice therefore is for the citizenry to prepare early enough to pressurize the junta to put a time-frame to their promises. Otherwise, according to me, their 'soon' may extend beyond two years.

ARUNGA'S PERSONALITY

For about a month now here in Kenya, a prominent TV hostess has dominated news headlines for resigning her job and declaring her candidature in the political arena come 2012. She was reported to have cancelled her marriage plans but rescinded it after she'd been arrested by the local police and later handed-over to a famous local psychiatrist perhaps by her worried parents. She is now reported to have been thinking to sue her parents jointly with the local media.

A minute ago, The BBC World Service radio has been discussing whether the British PM Gordon Brown is a bully and or a tough and demanding leader.
